Stayed in a wing of the charming château, feeling like royalty. Eclectic decor, but had everything I needed. Breakfast room was elegant with a magnifique breakfast.
Grouting on the tiles could use some attention, but who cares when you're staying in a freaking château? !

The suite was beautifully decorated, with a lot of natural light and had stunning views of the courtyards and gardens. As a guest who loves bright and elegant spaces, I felt instantly relaxed and at ease in this room.
While I appreciated the dark red tones in the double room, it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Some guests who prefer lighter and more neutral colors might not find it as appealing.

I had a wonderful stay at this château. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I recently stayed at a fabulous traditional French chateau in the countryside, just a short drive from Agouleme. The setting was lovely, with beautiful grounds and a great feeling of tranquility. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The homemade cakes and fruit served for breakfast were a delicious touch. I would definitely stay at this charming chateau again.
